Trusted co-owner of one of the largest integrated energy utilities together with local municipalities in Finland

Loiste is an integrated energy utility in Finland. The company’s primary activities are concentrated in the Kainuu and Northern Ostrobothnia regions, where Loiste owns and operates the 6th largest electricity distribution network in Finland by network length and provides district heating in the City of Kajaani. In addition, Loiste owns the 5th largest electricity retail business with c. 190,000 customers and has a portfolio of c. 100MW of fossil-free power generation capacity.

Infranode owns Loiste together with the city of Kajaani, the municipality of Sotkamo and a Mirova managed-fund.
